Just four weeks into the season, there’s very few undefeated, untied teams in the Tri-County area. A testament to parity? Or, more likely, an indication of the difficulty of a team maintaining its focus over a long season. The boys at Cardinal Mooney lost twice and stayed atop this week’s rankings. Their 1-0 setback came at Lakewood St. Edward, top-ranked in Ohio Div. I and 21st in the country. Mooney also fell 2-1 at Worthington Christian, ranked second in Ohio in Div. III.
