Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m., and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting, computer class at 10 and noon, cornhole practice at 1:15, and digital club at 2 p.m; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10, computer at 10 and noon, Tai Chi at noon, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; and Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m.; exercise at noon, and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. Special events are: Monday, insurance expo from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, New Middletown Fun Day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wednesday, Lake Milton Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Thursday, Boardman Fun Day at community center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Friday, Sebring Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center.
