NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The 18th Lawrence County Polish Day will be Sept. 21 at Cascade Park Pavilion, featuring polka bands Lenny Gomulka and Chicago Push and Eddie Blazonczyk’s Versatones.
Gomulka has earned 12 Grammy nominations, while Blazonczyk has a Grammy and 17 nominations.
The doors and kitchen open at noon with Polish food prepared by Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church. Admission is $12 (children 16 and under free). The dancing starts at 1:30 p.m.

Vocal talent contest enters final round
COLUMBIANA — The final round of the Voice of Main Street vocal talent competition will be at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, at Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St.
The competition is broken into four age group categories and has been running throughout the summer.
The winners will receive a prize package that includes recording a demo CD. Audience members will help the judges choose the winner.
Friday’s show will feature finalists in the K-4th grade and 5th-8th grade categories. Adult contestants and grades 9-12 will compete on Saturday night. Tickets can be purchased by calling (330) 482-9647.
Art exhibit focuses on Fellows gardens
YOUNGSTOWN — Fellows Riverside Gardens will showcase the work of local artists from the Hoyt Artists Association in an exhibition that begins Friday and runs through Nov. 9.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Fellows, artists were challenged to create works featuring the gardens and surrounding Mill Creek Park. The exhibition includes 29 works by 13 artists.

Motorcycle-tattoo show at Stark fairgrounds
CANTON — The USA Motorcycle-Tattoo Classic is coming to the Stark County Fairgrounds Sept. 19-21.
National celebrities will be on hand, including custom bike builders Eddie Trotta and Hank Young from the Discovery Channel; Hollywood-based model and TV personality Michele Smith; and Biker Billy, the Harley-riding chef and author of “Biker Billy Cooks with Fire.”
Ken McGill, event organizer, said the Classic is a family-friendly event that will cross demographic boundaries. The entertainment line-up includes rock tribute bands.
Sixty tattoo artists will be on hand. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Admission is $12 ($25 for a weekend pass).
Schreckengost exhibit heads to Sebring
SEBRING — An exhibition of art by the late Viktor Schreckengost will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Copeland Oaks Retirement community, 800 S. 15th St.
Schreckengost, a native of Sebring, worked for several corporations and became noted for his influential role in industrial design.
The Copeland Oaks Exhibit will include 20 limited-edition prints of his paintings.
Free dance lessons

Family program
HOWLAND — The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Branch Services Department and the Butler Institute of American Art will offer a blend of art and books during an interactive family program at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Trumbull Branch, 9350 E. Market St.
The Reading and Other Forms of Art program encourages adults and children to work together to connect books and art in a museum setting. The program is designed for children ages 5 to 12 with an accompanying adult. Children’s librarians will present stories, and art educators will present a companion craft.
