WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — LaGarrette Blount ran 3 yards for a touchdown in the second overtime to give No. 16 Oregon a come-from-behind 32-26 win over Purdue on Saturday.
Oregon (3-0) trailed 20-3 early in the second quarter, but tied the game late in the third, and Purdue’s Chris Summers missed a 44-yard field goal as time expired in regulation.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois coach Ron Zook wanted visit by Louisiana-Lafayette to be a momentum builder.
Zook got the exact opposite.
Illinois (2-1) strained, sputtered and, finally, squeaked past the Ragin’ Cajuns, sweating out the last six minutes of a game that wasn’t supposed to be close.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Shonn Greene ran for 120 yards and a touchdown, Andy Brodell returned a fourth-quarter punt 81 yards for a score and Iowa earned its third straight home win over the Cyclones.
The Hawkeyes (3-0) survived wet and windy conditions behind Greene’s third straight game over 100 yards rushing and yet another solid defensive effort. Iowa held the Cyclones (2-1) scoreless on two trips inside the 5-yard line and kept its opponent out of the end zone for the third straight game.

EVANSTON, Ill. — Tyrell Sutton ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns, leading Northwestern.
Sutton had 17 carries, scoring on runs of 44 yards in the second quarter, 2 yards in the third and 15 in the fourth.

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Javon Ringer splashed his way to a career-high 282 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns to lead Michigan State.
Ringer, who had a career-high 43 carries, gave Michigan State a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter on a 21-yard run.
Minnesota 35, Montana State 23.
MINNEAPOLIS — Eric Decker had nine catches for 157 yards and a touchdown to lead Minnesota.
It took a while for the sluggish Gophers (3-0) to get going, but once Adam Weber started getting the ball to Decker, the Bobcats (1-2) didn’t have an answer.
