Fitch and Green battled to a scoreless tie in girls action and Mooney’s boys lost to Worthington Christian, 2-1.

WARREN — Alexis Zubick scored three goals Saturday to lead the Springfield High girls soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Warren Harding.

Kelly Fitzpatrick netted the other goal for the Tigers (6-0-1).

Brianna Mincher had two assists and Allyson Berry made one. Goalkeeper Heather Cozak made seven saves.

Katie Polenick scored both goals for the Raiders (0-5-1). Goalkeeper Cierra Sparks made three saves.

AUSTINTOWN — Fitch (5-3-1) goalkeeper Ali Tolich made nine saves.

Green (2-4-1) goalkeeper Makenzie Callahan made three saves.

KINSMAN — Shawna McNeely scored all the goals for the Braves (4-4). Amelia Deraway had two assists while Adrianna Braho and Sarah Smith had one apiece. Goalkeeper Kelsey Flowers made seven assists.

WORTHINGTON — Matt McWilson scored the Cardinals’ goal. Goalkeepers Jon Critell and Brandon Fotiuk made two and four saves, respectively.

Luke Helmuth and Blake Miller scored first-half goals for Worthington Christian. Michael Williams and Andrew Swetham had assists. Goalkeeper Alex Scott stopped seven shots.

Canfield 3, Hubbard 0

CANFIELD — Nick Merhaut, Patrick Connors and Jared Turocy scored goals for the Cardinals (2-1-4), Jordan Ricks earned an assist.
