Fabrizio 70th celebrated with dinner, cruise


• CAMPBELL — The 70th anniversary of their wedding was observed by Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Fabrizio of St. Petersburg, Fla., during a private dinner that took place Sept. 7 at the MVR in Youngstown. The couple and their children will also celebrate the occasion during a cruise to Mexico in January.

Their family includes Angeline and Peter Koulianos, and Dominic R. and Kathleen Fabrizio, all of Campbell; and their grandchildren, Lisa and Denny Lucius, Michael and Rachel Fabrizio, Dr. Dominic and Shanna Fabrizio, and John Fabrizio, all of Tiffin; and Maria and Kon Pizanias, Dr. Anthony and Lauren Koulianos, Dominic and Susie Koulianos, Dominic Fabrizio, Lauren Fabrizio, and Michael Fabrizio, all of Campbell. The family also includes 15 great-grandchildren. Two of the couple’s children, Fred and Kathy Fabrizio, are deceased.

The former Mary Nerone and Mr. Fabrizio were united in marriage Oct. 17, 1938, at St. Joseph Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Fabrizio retired in 1980 after being employed more than 30 years at Strouss Department Store, Youngstown, and Mr. Fabrizio, who served with the U.S. Army, was employed as a millwright at Youngstown Sheet & Tube, Campbell Works, 25 years before retiring in 1977.

Since retiring, the couple make their home in St. Petersburg, where they are members of Holy Cross Church.
