COLUMBIANA — The 48th annual rose show was sponsored by Columbiana Rose Society, a member of the American Rose Society, on Sept. 6 at National City Bank, where the 196 entries were judged by Peter and Susan Schneider.

Entries judged best in their class and their exhibitors are as follows:

SBlt Queen of Show, Brandenberg Gate — Mr. and Mrs. William Deitsch of Canfield.

SBlt King of Show, Cesar Chavez — Pat Martinec of Poland .

SBlt Princess of Show, Folklore, and Best Mini Spray, Ty — Margaret Raupach of Canfield.

SBlt Mini Queen of Show, Emma Grace, and Mini-flora King of Show, Ricky Hendrick— R.J. Anthony and Kristine Vance of Brimfield.

SBlt Mini King of Show, Jean Kenneally — Annabelle Sitler of Salem.

SBlt Mini Princess of Show, Ty; Mini-flora Queen of Show, Foolish Pleasure; and Mini-flora Princess of Show, Whirlaway — Jean Krafft of East Liverpool.

SBlt Best Single Floribunda, Victorian Spice — Jason Lawton of Leetonia.

The coveted Best of Show award was also captured by the Deitsches for their Brandenberg Gate entry.
