Royals sweep doubleheader from Indians
CLEVELAND (AP) — Kansas City’s Mark Teahen hit two home runs in the second game to lead the Royals to a 8-4 win over Cleveland and a doubleheader sweep of the Indians on Saturday night.
Ryan Shealy homered and had a career-high four hits in the nightcap after Teahen had three hits in an 8-3 win in the first game. Teahen went 5-for-9 with four RBIs in the sweep to improve his career average against Cleveland to .323 (62-for-192) with six homers and 26 RBIs.
