• YOUNGSTOWN — Michelle Leigh Coristin, 6747 Bristlewood Drive, and Andrew John Wiechkoske, 915 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa., were married at 4 p.m. Aug. 8 in St. Matthias Church. Concelebrants were Monsignor Peter Polando and the Rev. Joe Carey.

The bride, a daughter of Carla C. Coristin, also of 6747 Bristlewood Drive, and the late Michael G. Coristin, and the groom, a son of John and Brenda Wiechkoske, 25115 Aughton Drive, Spring, Texas, were honored during a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall before leaving for a honeymoon at St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Upon return, they live in Pittsburgh.

The bride, who wore a strapless white satin gown, was given in marriage by her uncle and godfather, Carmine Cassese.

Sahara gowns with black sashes were worn by the honor attendant, Laura Coristin, and the bridesmaids, Angela Stana, Ashlee Wiechkoske, Erica Antonucci, and Armene Gavoor. Flower girls were Mia Stana and Emma Cunningham.

John Wiechkoske served as best man, and groomsmen were Doug Mahoney, Brian Segobiano, Michael Stackhouse, and Jim Lynch. Ring bearers were Rocco Gentile and Jackson Allen.

A graduate of St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, the bride is a teacher at Aquinas Academy in Gibsonia, Pa.

The groom, an associate in private equity with PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, earned a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
