• NILES — Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was the setting on June 28 for the wedding of Joanna Fergus, 1045 Ohltown Road, Youngstown, and Thomas Keller, 8585 N. Shelby Drive, Erie, Pa.
The Rev. Edward Lohse officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored afterward during a reception at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland. Following a honeymoon at St. Lucia, they live at the groom’s address.
The bride is a daughter of Andy Fergus of the Ohltown Road address, and the late Sue Fergus, and the groom’s parents are Joe and Barb Keller, 6833 Beechwood Road, Emporium, Pa.
The bride’s strapless princess-style satin gown was enhanced with embroidery, crystals and pearls. It featured a semicathedral train and was trimmed in tea rose pink.
Wearing colbalt blue gowns were the honor attendant, Kati Raymond, and the bridesmaids, Christine Pachell, Sarah Shuba, Lauren Soldner, and Elizabeth Villarreal. Anna Lohse was the flower girl.
Nick Keller performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Bogacki, Jay Flaherty, Bryan Reynolds, and Ovid Villarreal. Ring bearer was Luke Shuba.
The bride and groom earned bachelor’s degrees from Gannon University, hers in elementary/special education and his in electrical engineering. She is a teacher with Barber National Institute, and he is an engineer with Verizon Communication, both in Erie. She is pursing a master’s in instruction at Gannon University, where he is pursuing a master’s in business administration.
