NILES — Gina Albani scored two goals Thursday to lead the Howland High girls soccer team to a 3-2 victory over Niles.

Jessica Wilson scored a goal and two assists for Howland (6-0-1, 2-0 All-American Conference Red), which took a 3-0 lead early in the second half.

Tyler Nicholas, Abby Nicholas and Elana Maksimoff also had assists and Casey Haering made a save.

For Niles (5-2, 0-2), Raffaela Infante scored twice and Carly Cicero had an assist. Sarah Scarnecchia made five saves.

JVs: Howland 5-2.

Salem 7, Struthers 0

STRUTHERS — Dana Webb, Peyton Meals and Lauren Rupp each scored two goals for the Quakers (4-2-1). Halie Hank also scored and Webb earned an assist.

Goalkeeper Alison Thompson made five saves.

Struthers (0-7) goalkeeper Kayla Kusky made 16 saves.

AUSTINTOWN — Schanvel Wall and Ariel Rivera each scored an unassisted goal for Youngstown Christian at Highway Tabernacle Church field.

Liberty goalkeeper Elysa Raib had 21 saves.

CANTON — Alyson Slyman scored three goals for Central Catholic (3-3-2) while Michelle Logozzo and Jenna France had one. Kayla Lynn and Chelsea Andorka had assists.

For JFK (3-4-0), Jerrica Cooper had a goal and Kelsey Case had 10 saves.

BOARDMAN — Devrim Olgun scored two goals and had an assist for the Spartans (4-2-1).

Matt Horvatich had two goals while D.J. Herman, Matt Wallace and Christian Silvestri had one apiece. B.J. Comstock had two assists while Richard Pitak, Willy Barger and Zaire Morrison had one apiece.

Boardman goalkeeper Ryan Giambattista had three saves and Garrett Pancake had four. The Raiders’ Ryan Burk made nine saves.

Howland 4, Ursuline 1

HOWLAND — Isaac Weisman, Scott Heineman, Ryan Gerin and Eric Albani scored for the Tigers.

Albani assisted on two goals while WEisman and Connor Gilmour assisted on the others. Goalkeeper Dan Miller made one save.

For the Quakers, Corey Coffey scored on a penalty kick and Andrew Rich made eight saves.

NORTH LIMA — Alex Baker scored two goals and had an assist for the Raiders (7-1). Andy Lacefield scored the other goal while Luke Yeagley made 15 saves. Treg Lunger scored the goal for Heartland (4-1) while Nate Hall made 34 stops.

AUSTINTOWN — Nick Bowlen scored three goals and Chris Colaluca made four assists for the Falcons (3-4-2).
