1952: Browns 21-20, Browns’ Otto Grahma rallies from 13 point deficit, Steelers lose game on missed point after touchdown.
1954: Steelers 55-27, Pittsburgh’s first win of the series.
1961: Browns, 30-28, Pittsburgh’s Buddy Dial sets a franchise record 235 receiving yards, along with an 88-yard reception for a TD. Game turned on a Lou Groza field goal after John Henry Johnson fumbled in the final two minutes.
1964: Steelers, 23-7, Steeler Johnson, at 35, schools Jim Brown in his prime, out-gaining him 200 to 59 yards and scoring three touchdowns.
1976: Browns, 18-16, Third-string QB Dave Mays leads the Browns to victory after both teams’ starters were injured. Terry Bradshaw’s neck was injured on a tackle by Joe “Turkey” Jones.
1980: Steelers, 16-13, Bradshaw’s TD pass to Lynn Swann with 11 seconds left keeps the Browns winless at Three Rivers Stadium.
1986: Browns, 27-24, Cleveland’s first win ever at Three Rivers Stadium.
1987: Browns, 19-13, The Browns clinch the AFC Central Division title by holding the Steelers to one offensive play in the 4th quarter.
1989: Browns, 51-0, The Browns handed the Steelers the most lopsided loss in the history of the rivalry.
1994: Steelers, 17-7, Pittsburgh clinches the AFC Central Division title.
1995: Steelers, 20-3, Steelers fans wore orange arm bands in tribute to the Browns. Art Modell announced his plan to move the team to Baltimore.
1999: Steelers, 43-0, First game in Cleveland Browns Stadium. Team returned after suspending operations for three seasons under NFL agreement.
1999: Browns, 16-15, Browns gain revenge for season-opening humiliation with Phil Dawson’s 52-yard field goal as time expires.
2002: Steelers, 36-33, wild card playoff game. Pittsburgh rallies from 24-7 third quarter deficit.
2007: Steelers, 31-28, Pittsburgh comes back from being down 21-6. Cleveland’s Dawson misses a 52-yard field goal attempt to tie with six seconds remaining.
