NEW MIDDLETOWN — Springfield remained unbeaten (8-0) behind the play of Morgan Fagnano and Kallie Rogers who scored 14 points each. Rachael Kennedy added 18 kills, five blocks and four points, while Ashley Davis had 15 kills and 12 points. Springfield coach Bill Knight registered his 300th victory. Boardman (2-6) was led by Monica Touvelle with 18 digs, eight points, seven kills and three aces, while Kayleigh Lipke had 17 kills and Nicole Bingetti added 14 kills and 14 digs.
East 25-22-25-25, Warren Harding 19-25-8-23
WARREN — Rashayla Taylor led East (4-2) with nine aces and four kills. J’Nay Roland had nine assists, seven aces and four kills. Ronisha Howard paced the Raiders (3-5) with 10 points, two kills, two blocks, two digs and two aces. Ja’Quana Threats had 10 points, four digs and Elizabeth Hall had eight points, three digs and 15 assists.
Lordstown 25-25-25, Bloomfield 7-6-13
LORDSTOWN — Heather Carocha registered 17 points, six aces, two digs and three kills to lead Lordstown (6-2, 4-0 NAC). Keeley Chaffee added four points, two aces and nine kills and Karly Gibbs 12 points, 10 aces, 26 assists and six blocks to also pace the Red Devils. JVs: Lordstown, 25-13, 25-17.

VIENNA — Emily Pitzer had 16 points, four aces and 10 assists to lead Mathews (6-1, 5-0 NAC), while Tilly Dickerson added six kills and Brittanee Moyer three digs. Melissa Sloan had seven points and Carey Denman two kills and one digs for Maplewood.

WARREN — Kelly Barzak led Howland with 13 kills and two blocks, while Nia Grant added 19 points and three blocks and Caitlin Greenwood had six aces. Harding was led by Ronisha Howland with 10 points, two aces, two kills and two blocks, while Creelynn Provit had 24 assists. JVs: Howland 25-14, 25-9

HANOVERTON — Crestview and United entered Wednesday’s match both seeking their first victory. Neither team got a win as they battled to a deadlock. Emily Covll scored for Crestview (0-4-2), assisted by Olivia Gamble, while Morgen Williams had the goal for United (0-5-3).

BOARDMAN — Sophomore Heather Hughes had four goals, senior Jaime Avona two goals, senior Jenna Mackey, freshman Hailey Dickey and senior Courtney Gratz had one apiece for the Spartans (6-1, 3-0). Avona, Danielle Petrus and Taylor Deley had two assists apiece, while and Hughes and Gratz had one each. Cheyenne Khatib had two saves for Boardman, which outshot McKinley, 30-2. JVs: Boardman 7-0

NORTH CANTON — Tori Koch had the only goal of the game assisted by Juliana Figueroa with 18:01 remaing in the first half to give Fitch the win. Fitch (5-3, 3-0 FL) had nine shots on goal to Hoover’s six. Fitch goalie Ali Tolich had five saves. Hoover goalie Taylor Maceyak had six saves. JVs: 0-0

WARREN — Laura Griffith scored both unassisted goals for Lakeview (4-2-2). Harding (0-4-1) goalie Avrille Merten had 18 saves. JVs: Lakeview 2-0

BELOIT — Brandi Snyder and Brianne Rumsey each scored two goals as West Branch improved to 5-1-1 on the season. Bekah Zets, Taylor Kring, Brandi Bonfert, Lacey Sanor, Emilee Zets and Tami Polleman all scored one goal each for the Warriors. Sierra Woolf had two saves in goal for West Branch.

LAKEWOOD — Pat Murray’s penalty kick with 19:59 remaining in the first half was the lone goal in the game. Toby Frohich had eight saves for St. Edward (7-0) while senior Jon Critell had four saves for Mooney (6-1). St. Edward was the top-ranked team in Ohio (Division I) and 21st in the country.
