Underwood, Chesney among CMA nominees

NEW YORK — Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson are among the nominees for the 42nd Country Music Association Awards. Other nominees include Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts, who were on hand to reveal the some of nominees during a live announcement on Thursday’s ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Underwood’s nominations included nods for album of the year and female vocalist of the year. The CMA awards are set for Nov. 12, and will air on ABC.
