The Four Preps recently marked their 50th anniversary.

WARREN — The Four Preps will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Packard Music Hall.

It is the opening performance of the Warren Civic Music Association’s 68th season. Tickets are $30 ($7 for students). Call the Packard box office at (330) 841-2931. Season subscriptions are still available for $72 ($32 for students) by calling (330) 399-4485.

The Four Preps, who recently marked their 50th anniversary, harmonize on some of America’s favorite pop hits, including “Sha Boom,” “Unchained Melody” and “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” as well as their own hits: “26 Miles,” “Big Man,” “Lazy Summer Night” and “Down by the Station.”

Other programs in this season’s WCMA series include the Barbary Coast Band, Oct. 22; Broadway’s “Spirit of Christmas,” Dec. 2; Linda Davis, Jan. 29 show, March 29; pianist Mac Frampton and the Hollywood Hills All-stars, April 21. Mac Frampton was last in Warren in 2005 when he presented the popular “Pop Go the Classics.”
