Fourth suspect in Dow shooting to be arraigned

YOUNGSTOWN — A fourth suspect in the shooting death of James E. Dow, 28, of South Lakeview Avenue was brought back to the city by U.S. marshals on Wednesday and is expected to be arraigned Friday on a murder charge, said Capt. Kenneth Centorame, chief of detectives.

The suspect, Aaron Sherrod, 21, was captured in Georgia in July. Dow was found dead in the basement of 145 Thornton Ave. on the North Side on Nov. 18, 2007.

Centorame said the motive could have been robbery or drugs or a combination. Already charged in the crime are D’Metri Lee, 18; Edward E. Taylor II, 19; and Michael W. Lee, 21. Taylor and Michael Lee have pleaded guilty to their part in the crime, according to Vindicator files.
