Boy flees hail of gunfire on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A 16-year-old boy ran into a store in the 1300 block of Wick Avenue to escape a hail of gunfire, police said. The Bryson Street boy told police at least 20 shots were fired at him from a white Jeep as he walked near his North Side home around 8 p.m. Wednesday. He was not injured. He identified the suspect for police.
