West Branch boys soccer team keeps rolling
BELOIT — Aaron Lamancusa and Brian Snoddy each had a goal and two assists to lead the West Branch High boys soccer team to a 8-0 win over Canton South Tuesday.
Caleb Capron, Josh Latham, Kerrigan Pelamati, Joey Schlueter, Brandon Barnes and Matthew Frankhouser each added a goal for the Warriors (6-1), while Chance Young had an assist.
JVs: West Branch 3, South Range 1
Boardman 1, Canton McKinley 0
CANTON — B. J. Herman scored with 12 minutes remaining to lift the Spartans (3-2-1, 2-0-1 Federal).
Boardman had 13 shots on goal, compared to eight for the Bulldogs. Ryan Giambattista had eight saves for Boardman. James Forsythe had 12 saves for Canton McKinley.
JVs: Boardman 2-0.
Poland 3, Niles 1
POLAND — Taylor Malaniak had a goal and an assist and John Elias and Ryan Storkel each scored for Poland (5-1-0), which held a 12-7 edge in shots. Dan Hunt and Charles Lamping added assists and Cooper Kostelic had six saves.
Nick Liste scored for Niles (2-4-0) and Ryan Gregory had nine saves.
JVs: Poland 3-2.
