Lisa Carr and Blake Herttua announce engagement, plans for winter wedding

• HUBBARD — Lisa A. Carr and Blake A Herttua, both of Hubbard, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage

Ms. Carr, a daughter of Georgia A. Carr of Hubbard, is employed as a community support provider at the adult office of Valley Counseling Services, Inc. in Warren. She earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling through Capella University.

Mr. Herttua, a son of Donna L. Herttua of Warren and the late Wilbert S. Herttua, is employed as a dock associate at FedEx Freight East in North Jackson, where he recently completed the leadership apprentice course. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy from Youngstown State University.

The couple are planning a winter wedding and reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown.
