Girard-Newton Falls football game will be played

GIRARD — The Newton Falls-Girard High football game will be played Friday at Girard at 7 p.m. as scheduled, after the Newton Falls teachers’ strike was settled Wednesday.

Tickets will be on sale today and Friday at Girard High and the usual outlets, and also at the gate.

Newton Falls teachers were scheduled to return to classes today after reaching a tentative agreement with the school board, ending a four-day strike.
