CHEVROLET CENTRE \ Hockey rent

The deal signed by Youngstown to have the Mahoning Valley Phantoms play most of its home games at the Chevrolet Centre this season includes a difference in rent compared to the facility’s former hockey tenant, the Youngstown SteelHounds. Here are the differences.

PHANTOMS

$2,750 a game for attendance up to 3,000 fans.

$3,000 for attendance of 3,001 to 4,000.

$4,000 for attendance of 4,001 to 5,000.

$5,000 for attendance of 5,001 or more.

STEELHOUNDS

$2,250 a game for attendance up to 2,699 fans.

$3,000 for attendance of 2,700 to 3,199.

$3,700 for attendance of 3,200 to 3,699.

$4,400 for attendance of 3,700 to 4,199.

$5,100 for attendance of 4,200 to 4,699.

$5,800 for attendance of 4,700 to 5,199.

$6,500 for attendance of 5,200 or more.
