YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University head football Coach Jon Heacock announced today that junior starting quarterback Todd Rowan, a LaBrae high graduate, has left the team, but Heacock didn’t say why. Rowan started the Penguins' first two games and completed 14 of 23 passes for 84 yards and had one interception.
Brandon Summers, a junior transfer from the University of Toledo, will start for the Penguins Saturday when they play their home opener against Central State.
