Junior quarterback Todd Rowan has left the YSU football team.

Rowan, from LaBrae, started the first two games of the season for the Penguins. He completed 14-of-23 passes for 84 yards and one interception.

Brandon Summers, a junior who transferred from the University of Toledo, has been tabbed the starter for Saturday’s home opener against Central State.
