Here’s how to help hurricane victims
YOUNGSTOWN — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Youngstown is working with Catholic Charities USA in responding to short- and long-term needs of people impacted by recent hurricanes affecting the United States. Catholic Charities USA is the official domestic disaster response office of the U.S. Catholic Bishops.
Catholic Charities agencies throughout the Gulf Coast are responding with emergency shelter, food, counseling and general assistance and will continue to respond to help communities rebuild.
Monetary donations for Hurricane Relief are appreciated. Checks may be made payable to: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown and in the memo line mark it for the Hurricane 2008 Fund. Send check to: Catholic Charities Office, Diocese of Youngstown, 144 W. Wood Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503.
