• Hubbard High School Class of 1958’s celebration of 50 years since graduation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday with a mixed golf outing at Candywood Golf Course, off Route 82 in Howland. A mixer will begin at 7 p.m. that evening at the Avalon Inn in Howland. On Saturday, there will be a walk-through at Hubbard High School. The main door will be open at 10 a.m. Visitors may park in the circle in front. This may be the last chance to walk the halls of HHS. Demolition will begin in 2009. Saturday evening at the Avalon Inn, the cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner and dancing will follow.

• The annual Springfield High School All-Class Reunion has been set for 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 28 at the New Middletown Free Methodist Community Church, 9900 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, New Middletown.

Those attending should take a covered dish or dessert and table service. Beverages will be furnished. Those interested in touring the Springfield Township Historical Society museum on Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, can do so from 3 to 4 p.m. that day. The Alumni Association president is Zonda Haase.
