Brad Smith (Jets, Chaney) — The third-year tight end saw action but accumulated no statistics in the Jets’ 20-14 win at Miami. In the preseason Smith had two catches for 37 yards and one rush for 12 yards.
Steve Vallos (Seahawks, Boardman) — The rookie center and offensive guard saw action in a reserve role in Seattle’s 34-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Seahawks managed just 252 total yards, including 85 yards rushing, and quarterback Matt Hasselback was sacked five times.
Antwaun Molden (Texans, Warren Harding) — The rookie cornerback had two special teams tackles in the Texans’ 38-17 to the Steelers.
Anthony Smith (Steelers, Hubbard) — Smith, a defensive back, was not activated for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
Mario Manningham (Giants, Warren Harding) — Manningham, a wide receiver, wasn’t activated for Thursday’s game, a 16-7 win over the Redskins.
John Greco (Rams, Boardman) — Greco, an offensive tackle, was not activated for the Rams in their 38-3 loss to the Eagles.
Mike McGlynn (Eagles, Austintown Fitch) — McGlynn, an offensive guard, was not activated for the game against the Rams.
Marlin Jackson (Sharon) and Pierre Garcon (Mount Union) played for the Colts in Sunday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.
