• Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will take place from noon until the meeting. Mr. Durkin from the board of education will speak.

• Austintown AARP Chapter 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road. Blood pressure will be taken beginning at noon. The nominations committee will give its first reading of candidates for 2009. The program will be “Welcoming the Bee Man.”

• The K.C.Ettes of Poland will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall with Rosella Fuimara, Frances Jeswald and Ruth Burns serving as hostesses. Members will play cards and discuss plans for the new year.

• UFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lucianno’s Restaurant in the Wedgewood Plaza. Activities and bus trips will be discussed. New members are always welcome.
