Oct. 25 plans told for Miss Rigelsky and Mr. Madras

• POLAND — The engagement of Janene Rigelsky and Sean Madras, both of Fairview, Pa., is being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, James and Marleen Thompson of Poland and Frank Rigelsky, also of Poland.

The prospective groom is a son of John Madras of Erie, Pa., and Michael and Antonia Vehec, also of Erie.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s Oct. 25 wedding, which will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, and for an evening reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

Miss Rigelsky is a director of admissions and student services and an associate professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s School of Pharmacy in Erie, Pa. She received her bachelor’s degree and doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Toledo.

Mr. Madras received a nursing diploma from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Erie and is a certified emergency room nurse at St. Vincent Health Center.
