ASSOCIATIONS
• NARFE Chapter 14 will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. Dick McCarthy, candidate for the Ohio Senate, will speak. The meeting is open to all active and retired federal employees and friends.
CLASSES
• Fairfield Waterford High School Class of 1959 will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at Heck’s Restaurant in Columbiana.
• Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the classes of 1946 and 1948 are also welcome.
CLUBS
• Austintown II Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Dolly Conn and Pat Chamberlain. Membership dues of $8 will be collected. Nonmembers are welcome.
• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
• Tri-County Chapter of Medical Assistants will host the Ohio State Society of Medical Assistants Fall Educational Seminar on Sept. 27 at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, Liberty. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Continuing education units are 4.5. To make reservations, call (330) 792-1922. Cost for AAMA members is $45; nonmembers, $55; students, $25.
GUILDS
• McDonald Literary Guild will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Park United Methodist Church.
SOCIETIES
• Columbiana County Historical Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the First United Methodist Church, 114 E. Washington St., Lisbon. People are asked to make reservations by calling (330) 424-3920.
SUPPORT GROUPS
• Fred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson’s Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Hosts are Jack and Verna Siersdorfer.
• Living Free, a Bible-based 12-step program for those faced with daily struggles, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at God’s Recovery Hut, 8590 Hitchcock Road.
VETERANS
• Catholic War Veterans Paul Sgambatti Post 1903 and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the parish house meeting room.
