THIS WEEKEND

East Palestine: Fifteen teams will compete Saturday in the East Palestine Invitational. Middle school races are set for 10 a.m. and 10:30, with the varsity girls run set for 11 and boys at 11:45. Boardman will defend both boys and girls varsity titles.

Walsh Jesuit: The McDonald boys will defend their title at the Walsh Jesuit “Tomahawk Run” Saturday. The varsity Maroon run is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., to be followed by the girls Maroon run at 10. Fitch will compete in girls and boys varsity Gold runs at 1 and 1:30 p.m., respectively.

Champion: Twelve schools are expected to compete in the sixth Ray Sweeney Invitational at Champion Saturday. Chagrin Falls is the defending champion in both boys and girls.
