ASSOCIATIONS
• Home Cemetery Association will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday at the cemetery. In the event of rain, members will be directed to the home of Donna and George Hageman or Jack and Joan Gillespie.
ATHLETIC GROUPS
• McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
• McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Blue Devil Room at the high school.
AUXILIARIES
• St. Elizabeth Auxiliary will meet from noon to 3 p.m. Monday in the private dining room. The program will be by Joanne Brown and is titled “Merry Christmas Billboards.”
CLASSES
• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman.
FRATERNAL GROUPS
• Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.
• Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Members are asked to take 6 ounces of worsted yarn in a plastic bag with their name on it to be used for January’s scarf swap.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
• Girard K. of C. Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m.. Monday at the club hall. Charlene Pastore will preside, and yearbooks will be distributed.
• Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.
• St. Anthony’s Auxiliary of Struthers will have its monthly meeting at noon Monday at St. Anthony’s Hall. Lunch will be served. On the committee are Catherine Ricottilli, Rose DelSignore, Laura Fiorentine and Rina Segretario. After lunch, Arlene DeChellis will conduct a short business meeting.
• St. Michael Altar Guild smorgasbord dinner will take place Monday in the parish center. The dinner will be preceded by benediction at 6 p.m. by Deacon Tom Soich. The program, presented by Michael Scarsella, will be “Remembering Idora Park.” Hostesses are Jerry Less, Bernice Harnishfeger, Roxanna Hildebrand and Mary Ann Pavalko.
• St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mary Ann Cardiero will preside. Plans will be discussed for the 70th anniversary dinner on Oct. 19. Hostesses are Lisa Orlando, Madeline Pagano, Angie Pannunzio, Mary Patrick and Phyllis Pelly.
• St. Rose Catholic Women's Club will resume monthly meetings at 7 p.m. Monday in Rosetta Hall. The meeting will include a tea party and distribution of program books. Members are asked to take their favorite teacup and saucer. All parish women are invited.
• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.
• St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.
• Struthers K. of C.Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall. Fran Timko will serve as hostess, and there will be a Chinese auction.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Tuesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Plaza, cost is $5; Wednesday, walk at 6 p.m. in Mill Creek Park from Route 224, Boardman; Thursday, meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the church with Sam Jordon as speaker; and Sept. 12, free movie night at dusk in Poland behind the library.
