HUBBARD
Aug. 29
Theft: A man reported a theft from his Hubbard business.
Weapons: A Hubbard male was taken into custody after an Elmwood Drive boy reported a group of juveniles threatened his life and a friend’s life. Two knives were found, police said.
Aug. 30
Criminal mischief: The owner of a North Main Street beauty shop found beer bottles, cigarette butts and other trash on the parking lot.
Criminal damaging: A man discovered two bicycles in a nearby ditch, as well as other damage at Deer Creek Golf Course, 7691 E. Liberty St.
Aug. 31
Theft: A Chagrin Street man discovered someone stole his trailer from a Moore Street storage facility.
Theft: A man reported a grave marker stolen from a cemetery off Oakdale Avenue.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of North Main Street reported the theft of a $60 memory card to his Xbox system.
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of North Main Street discovered items missing from her vehicle.
Theft: A Brookfield woman noticed an angel figurine and a plaque missing from her mother’s grave site in the 200 block of Oakdale Avenue.

Theft: A Fifth Avenue man told police he gave $5 to a woman who came to his home claiming to be out of gasoline, but that the money was never repaid.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet stolen while at a North Main Street store.
Theft: A Clingan Street woman reported property stolen from her husband’s two cars.
LIBERTY
Aug. 29
Breaking and entering: A window was broken and the front door open at a vacant residence in the 800 block of East Liberty Street. Copper piping had been removed.
Burglary: A man discovered a $1,500 laptop computer missing after someone had broken into his Holly Drive home.
Aug. 30
Arrest: A 26-year-old Hadley Avenue man was arrested at his residence on a probation-violation charge.
Stolen property: A Youngstown man alleged his former girlfriend, a 46-year-old Struthers woman, took a check from his checkbook, forged his signature and cashed the check at a Belmont Avenue bank.
Theft: A West Liberty Street woman reported an automated-teller-machine card and personal papers stolen from her car. The card was used at a Boardman business, the report said.
Aug. 31
Drugs: Police responded to a Belmont Avenue restaurant to check the welfare of a customer who had fallen asleep at the counter. There, a 40-year-old Youngstown man faced a drug-abuse charge when, officers said, they found a bag with a white powder that tested positive for cocaine.
Menacing: An employee with a Belmont Avenue store told authorities a former worker followed the accuser on foot and threatened to harm him.
Burglary: A Craig Lane man saw that someone had entered his mobile home via a side door before taking a DVD player, DVDs and a laptop computer, for an estimated loss of $1,075.
Theft: A Monticello Boulevard woman reported someone broke into her father’s vehicle and removed a $400 compact-disc player.
Sept. 1
Robbery: A Youngstown woman, 41, was charged after a worker for Dollar General, 4425 Logan Way, alleged the woman assaulted her before stealing $81 worth of clothing. The woman also was wanted on a warrant from Mahoning County charging her with larceny.
Arrest: A Hubbard man, 49, was taken into custody after being pulled over on state Route 193. He was wanted on a charge of probation violation.
Theft: A Logan Way man reported four aluminum ladders and two aluminum platforms missing from his property.
Sept. 2
Felonious assault: A Youngstown woman in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive told authorities a Youngstown man, 50, struck her with his vehicle during an argument. The woman was not seriously injured, though she complained of pain in her right leg.
Assault: A township woman told officers a Girard woman, 40, slapped the accuser’s left arm and threatened harm.
Theft: A Boardman man reported an 18-volt drill and a 50-piece socket set stolen from his truck while at a Belmont Avenue gas station. The loss came to $500.
Sept. 3
Arrest: A 46-year-old man was picked up at a business in the 4200 block of Belmont Avenue on a warrant. He also was charged with criminal trespassing when, police said, he was on the property despite having been warned to stay off.
GIRARD
Aug. 31
Possible burglary: An East Liberty Street man said he discovered $435 missing and accused his landlord, of McDonald, of entering his apartment without permission. The landlord admitted going into the residence but said it was to check a possible water leak, police said.
Sept. 1
Theft: A Girard man reported his car had been broken into. Stolen were an Xbox 360 system, a gym bag and his wallet.
Arrest: A Girard woman, 28, faced charges of criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after officers responded to an unwanted person at a Gary Avenue residence. The woman engaged in erratic behavior, including verbal abuse, the report said.
Theft: An East Howard Street woman reported items stolen from her husband’s truck.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 47, and a Girard woman, 22, were charged with theft and complicity to theft, respectively, after 14 articles of clothing valued at a total of $65 were stolen from Dollar General, 501 Church Hill Road. One of the women also was wanted on a warrant from the township charging her with receiving stolen property.
Sept. 2
Bad check: A Girard man was accused of writing a $44 check drawn on a closed account to TG’s Pizza, 400 N. State St.
Menacing: A Stull Avenue woman said her brother has made a series of threats against her.
Menacing: A North Davis Street woman told police she overheard a neighbor threaten to kill her.
Theft: An East Main Street man’s credit card was stolen and a $200 withdrawal was made with it.
Theft: A Lawrence Avenue man reported 72 CDs, three DVDs, an 8-inch portable DVD player and other merchandise stolen from his vehicle.
