The 121st Columbiana Street Fair formally kicks off with a parade at 6:30 tonight and runs through Saturday. Located on Main Street, downtown, it includes a quarter-mile midway with rides, an exhibit tent, live music every night at 8:30 and plenty of food, including American Legion Post 290’s famous street fair burgers. The annual Back to School Block Party, sponsored by the Stopping the Violence Committee, will spread out along Park Avenue next to Wick Park on Youngstown’s North Side. Food, contests, vendors and a lot of entertainment comprise the two-day festival, which runs from noon to 9 p.m. both days. The list of entertainers includes DVA, Stingray, Candace Campana, DRDC Human Video Skit, Real Deal, Young Nette, Jasmine Jennings, Brad Cheatham, David Mines, Darrel Harris, Sylvia Randolph, the Campbell cheerleaders and Bobby Ellis.
