Storm 83, Dream 69
ATLANTA — Sue Bird scored 21 points and had nine assists to lead Seattle over Atlanta. Camille Little, who was traded from Atlanta to Seattle in June, scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help the Storm (19-10) move into a first-place tie with San Antonio in the West. Yolanda Griffith also had 16 points and Tanisha Wright added 11. The expansion Dream (3-27) lost their eighth straight game with only four games left in the season, hoping not to finish with the worst record in WNBA history. The Chicago Sky went 5-29 in 2006 in their inaugural season. Betty Lennox scored 25 points to lead the Dream.
Fever 79, Mystics 68
WASHINGTON — Tamika Catchings scored 15 of her game-high 26 points in the second half to help Indiana rally over Washington. Catchings helped the Fever rally after the Mystics took a 45-37 halftime lead. The forward scored 10 points in the third quarter, going 4-for-5 from the field. Indiana outscored Washington 25-10 in the period to take a 62-55 lead into the fourth. Alana Beard scored 17 points and Nakia Sanford added 15 for Washington, which has lost four straight games.
