New Middletown police arrest five juveniles


NEW MIDDLETOWN — Five juveniles were arrested over the weekend in connection with recent thefts from garages and cars, said Vincent D’Egidio, village police chief.

D’Egidio said he expects more arrests to be made. Police are continuing to investigate a rash of thefts that occurred in early August.

One of those arrested was charged with breaking and entering and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The other four were charged with receiving stolen property.
