McCain, Giuliani stump in Hanoverton

HANOVERTON — Ex-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said today that John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, “will fight to lower tax. John McCain is one of you.”

At a McCain rally today at United Local High School, Giuliani said that Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, and Joe Biden, his vice presidential running mate, gave contrary statements about their tax plan if they are elected.

McCain told the crowd “the momentum [here] is going to give us victory in Ohio.” He said his campaign is going to work on family and energy issues, particularly clean coal technology.

“I’ll take America in a new direction,” he said. “I am ready for the fight.”
