“Noises Off.” Salem Community Theater, 490 E. State St., Salem. Auditions will be 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 for an all-adult cast. Performances are Jan. 16-25. (330) 332-9688.

13th annual Stars of Tomorrow. New Castle Playhouse, 212 East Long Ave., New Castle. Auditions are 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 in the annex theater. Acts can be individual or small group, and any type such as vocal, dance, instrumental, comedy, variety. Be prepared to perform as if it were the actual show. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
