Thirty local Marine reservists coming home from Iraq


VIENNA — Thirty Marines Reserves from Landing Support Equipment Co., 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Groups, are to return home Thursday after a seven-month deployment to Iraq. They were stationed primarily in the Fallujah area conducting security operations in and outside of the camp perimeter, and were attached to the 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion from Cherry Point, N.C.

Members of the unit, stationed at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, are scheduled to arrived at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center on the station at 7:30 p.m., officials said.
