Basket extravaganza is mobile meals fundraiser

WARREN — Trumbull Mobile Meals and Trumbull County Medical Society Alliance have planned a Basket Extravaganza for 6 p.m. Nov. 8 at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W.

More than $18,000 worth of merchandise will be available during Chinese, silent and live auctions. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be entertainment. A miniature car race will be sponsored by General Motors with a chance to win $250. Each signature drink purchased for $5 will offer a chance to win a green gemstone.

Emerald sponsors are Albert M. Covelli Foundation and Thom Duma Fine Jewelers, and Wizard sponsors are Farmers National Bank, Stanwade Metal Products, and Durica and Associates (Allstate), Insurance and Financial Services, LLC.

Proceeds defray the cost of home-delivered meals to individuals who cannot afford the full cost.
