Daniszewski 50th is celebrated at Firestone Pavilion
• NORTH LIMA — Donald and Doris Daniszewski, of 2205 W. South Range Road, were honored for their 50th anniversary at a dinner party for invited guests Oct. 18 at the historic Firestone Pavilion in Columbiana.
The couple’s daughter and sons hosted the celebration, and guest harpist Sairey Miller, national Scottish harp champion, performed.
The couple’s family includes their children, Audrey and Brian Cook of Lisbon, Brian Daniszewski of North Lima, Michael and Lorraine Daniszewski of Ivor, Va., and Terry Daniszewski of Canton, and their five grandchildren, Shelby and Nathan Daniszewski and Lauren, Ben and Andrew Cook.
Mrs. Daniszewski retired in 1998 as a florist for Sitler’s Flowers in Columbiana. She is a founding member of the Holborn Herb Growers Guild and former member of the Youngstown Garden Forum.
Mr. Daniszewski retired in 2000 from South Range Schools in Greenford, where he worked in maintenance. He is a former member of the Mahoning Valley Stamp Club and is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The former Doris Parknavy married Mr. Daniszewski at St. Charles Church in Boardman on Oct. 18, 1958. They both are members of St. Jude Church in Columbiana.
