59TH DISTRICT
RONALD V. GERBERRY* (D)
Age: 55

Employment: State legislator.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in 1975 from Youngstown State University; a 1971 Austintown Fitch High School graduate.
Family: Wife, Kathy; three children, Deanna, Ron Jr., and Daniel.
Priority: To continue to strive to be accessible and responsive to all constituent requests.
DICK McCARTHY (R)
Age: 25.
Address: 1490 Alissa Place, Boardman.
Employment: A financial consultant with Pricewaterhouse-Coopers LLC.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Georgetown University; an Ursuline High School graduate.
Family: Single.
Priority: To bring more jobs to the Mahoning Valley by addressing the state and local tax structure, higher education and workforce training.
60TH DISTRICT
ROBERT F. HAGAN* (D)

Employment: State representative and locomotive engineer.
Education: An Ursuline High School graduate.
Family: Wife, Michele; five children.
Priority: To continue to push for a universal health plan.
TIM GORDON (R)

Employment: Bar manager of South Side Billiards and The Cellar.
Education: A 2008 graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and English; a 1977 Struthers High School graduate.
Family: Two children, Timmy III and Ryan.
Priority: To treat the office as a full-time job, representing the will of the people of the district.

MARK OKEY* (D)

Employment: State legislator.
Education: A law degree from Ohio Northern University School of Law in 1976; a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 1973.
