• Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner meeting Nov. 3 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. The speaker will be the Rev. Jim Ray, who will tell of his calling to the ministry and how his religion helped to frame his life. Cultural enrichment will be provided by Roman Rudnytsky, YSU professor and internationally acclaimed pianist. The cost is $13 for each paid-up member and $18 for each nonmember. • Youngstown American Hungarian Club, will meet Sunday at the clubhouse on Donald Avenue at a new time, 2:30 p.m. On the agenda will be discussion of the dobos torta sale in November.

GRANGES

• Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the grange hall, 6571 Fairground Blvd, Canfield. Stella Baker will be in charge. The program will feature fall activities and a Halloween party for the youths. Reservations will be made for the county grange banquet on Nov. 7.

GUILDS

• Youngstown Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the IOOF Hall in Canfield. Linda Gwinnup will preside. The featured project will be a Western Reserve sampler taught by Kim Trenner of Akron. Take regular stitching supplies and magnification and lighting, if necessary.
