Warrant issued for Trumbull burglar
WARREN — A warrant has been issued for a local man after he was kicked out of a Christian-based treatment facility where he was sentenced last month for participating in more than 20 burglaries of commercial businesses across Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge John Stuard was persuaded by a local pastor to sentence Jason Kirkpatrick to probation that included a 12-month residential treatment program in Detroit called Life Challenge, which is aligned with Teen Challenge, a similar program in Youngstown.
However, Warren Detective Jeff Hoolihan said he learned recently that Kirkpatrick lasted only about a month at Life Challenge before being “thrown out,” which puts Kirkpatrick in violation of his parole.
