NO HELP: Virgil and Minerva Gilea have been unable to obtain help from any area elected officials to prevent the imminent deportation of their son, Virgil Ciprian “Chip” Gilea, despite petitions from 200 Valley friends and supporters. The stress of the ongoing case has caused Minerva to lose 70 pounds, is depleting Virgil’s retirement account and caused their daughter to delay her wedding.
