13th annual Stars of Tomorrow. New Castle Playhouse, 212 East Long Ave., New Castle. Auditions are 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 in the annex theater. Acts can be individual or small group, and any type such as vocal, dance, instrumental, comedy, variety. Be prepared to perform as if it were the actual show. ACTORS/SINGERS

“The Incredibly Innovative Innovators of Pittsburgh.” Pittsburgh CLO Academy, 130 CLO Academy Way, 8th floor, downtown Pittsburgh. Auditions will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday by appointment only for nonequity actors of all types, ages 18 and older. Rehearsals begin Jan. 5. Performances are Jan. 12-May 8. Both are during the day. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
