KELLI O’MALLEY/JOHN SYLVESTER

• AVELLINO, Italy — The Duomo Church in Avellino was the setting on Aug. 2 as Kelli O’Malley and John Sylvester were united in marriage.

After spending their honeymoon in Italy, the couple were honored by invited guests at a reception at St. Demetrios Community Center in Warren.

Parents of the bride are Gary and Toni O’Malley of Howland.

The groom’s parents are John and Mary Sylvester of Boardman.

Molly O’Malley was the honor attendant for her sister, and Francesca Battista was a witness.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s cousin, Espedito Battista, and serving as ring bearer was his cousin, Yacopo Battista.

Mrs. Sylvester graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education.

She is employed as an intervention specialist by Austintown Local School District.

Mr. Sylvester, a graduate of Tri-State College of Massotherapy, is a massage therapist at Living Chiropractic and Massage Therapy in New Castle, Pa.

He is also a manager and bartender at Jeremiah Bullfrog’s in Boardman.

The couple live in Boardman.
