Delta Sigma Theta chapter plans financial workshop

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will present a Financial Fortitude Workshop for 2008, titled “Empowering Women of Color for Financial Success,” from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 8 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St.

The workshop, which is free and open to the public, will cover financial literacy, understanding your credit score, increasing your savings and reducing debt.

Vernard Richberg will be the facilitator, and there will be refreshments and door prizes.
