Warren cops seek purse snatcher

WARREN —City police are trying to determine who snatched a woman’s purse from her shoulder and ran off Sunday morning.

According to police reports, a 59-year-old Sedgewick Street woman was walking out of a store in the 2000 block of Elm Road just after 8 a.m. when a man came up from behind, snatched the purse and knocked her to the ground. The man ran away toward a nearby store.
