WESTERN PA: Mohawk falls to Beaver

BESSEMER, Pa. — Jake Nardone rushed for 221 yards and scored five touchdowns Friday to lead the Beaver High football team to a 41-28 victory over Mohawk.

Nardone’s scoring runs covered 7, 13, 16, 5 and 13 yards. The first four put Beaver (7-1) ahead 28-8 in the third quarter.

Colin Bredl scored twice for Mohawk (4-4).

His first score came on a 63-yard run. Less than a minute later, he caught a 40-yard scoring pass from Seth Powell.

Bredl caught seven passes for 74 yards and rushed six times for 89 yards.
