Stoy anniversary celebrated with renewal of vows

• YOUNGSTOWN — On Oct. 4, 1958, Nancy Wiseman and Richard Stoy exchanged nuptial vows as they were united in marriage at St. Edward Church.

On Oct. 5, 2008, the couple, who live at 3973 Sampson Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing those vows at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park, where a brunch took place in their honor.

Hosts for the festivities were their children, William R. Stoy of Youngstown and Nadyne Linder of Cincinnati. Their two grandchildren are Jackie and Billy Stoy.

Mrs. Stoy retired in 2002 from B&I Management, where she was general manager. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Stoy was employed at Austintown Ambulatory Health Care Center and worked 20 years as a business office manager for Forum Health at both Northside and Southside Medical centers. He retired in 1995 from Austintown Ambulatory Surgery Center, where he was executive director for 10 years. The couple are members of Austintown Optimist Club and the Saxon Club.
